The world would be a different place without the English.
They have given many things. The English language for one. Very good for communicating, tremendous for song writers and music. Likely will end up as the only language after a few thousand more years. Incredible discoveries in science and inventions.
Like the successful ant and bee colonies, when a society gets organized around a Queen, with subjects fulfilling a role and feeling a purpose, a lot gets accomplished.
On the other hand........England as a country has probably looted the world more than any pirates, crooks, or robbers. All justified in the name of the Queen, just haul it back to England, and get your reward.
