STDs from receiving BBBJs or giving DATY?

Hi everyone. I’m somewhat new to the hobby and have a question I’m hoping one you you more experienced members can answer. Has anyone here ever actually contracted or know of someone personally that has contracted an STD from receiving a BBBJ or giving DATY?

Nope. But not saying it's impossible.

In the 70's, before Herpes an and AIDS, I did everything BB even in Mexican Boys Towns. It was acceptable.

Right. I know it’s possible. Like causing an explosion by using a cell phone while pumping gas. They warn you not to do it but does anyone know of someone who has actually caused an explosion? I don’t. Same question about STDs. I know it can occur but I personally don’t know anyone that has contracted anything from oral

If you're concern is that your newly contracted case of the herp came from someone giving you a BBBJ only you would know if that is where it originated but the likelihood is yes the std transmission goes both ways. If you just want to know the percentage of times it happens vs. not happening when it should have who knows. Safe sex isn't about the ones it didn't happen to its about preventing it from being a possibility.

Saw in a TX discussion a couple days ago a guy caught the clap from receiving a BBBJ at an amp. He asked someone who just reviewed the same girl if she got it cleared up and had a prior review from earlier in the year when it actually happened.

Yes, I do know someone personally - a vet buddy of mine got C from oral while deployed. Oral is a much lower risk, but it's certainly possible. There are even a couple cases that folks have posted about on ECCIE, though you'll likely need PA to find them.

Ha. That's ridiculous. Even the best steel will eventually rust. Stick with aluminum or titanium if you can.

In the case of a man getting a blow job, the probability of him catching something is the least likely. However, anyone can get a variety of STDs from sucking on a penis.

In the case of DATY, both parties are at risk for getting some form of herpes from the contact. I even think that HPV can be exchanged this way.

As to DATY, it's very uncommon for STD's to be transmitted from female to male or vice versa, with one huge exception: it is common for HPV to be transmitted via cunnilingus, which can lead to mouth and throat cancer.

As to herpes, from what I've read, if you've had HSV-1 (oral herpes), it's unlikely (but possible) you'll get HSV-2 (genital herpes) from oral sex. The majority of people have had HSV-1.
