Searching a Phone Number

I've seen various threads where guys said they did a search on a phone number. I don't see how to do it effectively. I got two very weird texts earlier today. They may or may not be related to this hobby, but I'd like to search.

Any hints appreciated.

Last few I had to check just typed the number into Google, amazing how much stuff comes up.
