Houti rebels B-2 bombers

U.S. B-2 bombers attacked weapons caches belonging to Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen.
The Houthis have been attacking commercial and military ships in the Red Sea from Yemen.

Anyone who does business shipping goods via the Suez Canal and Red Sea know what enormous costs and delays this has caused.

A sad world we sometimes live in, thanks to the few who wreck it for the many.

You are right about that.

And we have been "in it" since the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

This week we sent a big deal ABM system to Israel . . .along with 100 US troops to run it.

folks don't remember now, but while the Viet Nam War ended in 1973 (or 1975 depending on POV), the first US military death in Viet Nam came in 1958.

Something significant had to be done. Not only are shipping rates thru the Red Sea astronomical, several shipping lines have stopped serving that route entirely.

Nice to let those bomber crews stretch out their legs.
Don't want them getting stale just flying around the air strip.
Saudi Arabia and Yemen have been working out a peace deal so the U.S wants to keep good relations with the Saudi's and only done small strikes
