Providers getting new handles (usernames)?

In the past month there has been more than a handful that have appeared in the “Welcome New Members” section.

I think a couple of them had been away for a long time, and may not have been able to access their old handle.. I know a couple of guys have said the same. a couple of other ladies received threats of a sort, and needed to create a new identity.

I'm not sure there is any implications for this last month, but if you want to throw this mini-trend into a larger stew of "issues" that seem to nag at ECCIE, I'm not going to object.
