First Time Visit in KC - What's There to do?
Hello there! Kansas City has been on my list of places to visit and it's happening soon but I have a slight inquiry.
Although I've done a fair share of googling, I find that when you travel the best recommendations come from the people who actually live there.
That said, what would be the best area to stay in (downtown vs. OP) and are there places that are an absolute "must" do, see, try, etc.?
Downtown is better than OP and we have the best BBQ in the world
We have a variety of things to do. It all depends on what type of things (eating places, attractions) you're wanting to check out
I recommend staying on the plaza, as it’s centrally located. If you’re into museums, the Nelson Atkins is one the best and walking distance from the plaza. If sports are your thing, time your visit with the Royals or Sporting KC in town. If you’re into nightlife, there’s Power & Light (corporate) or Westport (local).
Plaza,
Ask in the ladies room for specific recommendations.
