if there is any political angle? Social angle?

I'm sure there will be some opinions here.. starting questions:

does the murder indictment indicate a real shift in attitude, in Dallas, and/or the Country? this is the 2nd Officer charged with murder THIS YEAR, in North Texas.. which is unprecedented, to say the least. does "Blue" Dallas view Law enforcement differently?

"Red" Dallas would have never indicted an Officer. never did.

I don't think "Red" or "Blue" Dallas could ignore this one. The speed these stories reach the publoc is insane. An hour after her claim of an ajar door was made public, people posted on twitter and instangram to cast doubt to her story.

I think in Red and Blue districts, the technology available is allowing people to see with their own eyes and not rely on the testimony of the cop.

I think the fact that she was given bail after a murder indictment is crazy though. If she's smart, she's looking for ways out of the country.
Don't think even twit head would defend her. he might if she had hanged him though like a good trump supporter

My first reaction when this happned was........"She must have been drunk"

Then when no report of intoxication surfaced, my reaction was, "she must be incredibly stupid".

Maybe there is something we don't know about this case. It would have to be something extremely mitigating to sway a jury to come back with anything but a guilty verdict.

I'm not buying all of the outrage crap the victims familly is spouting. This woman did not have evil racial hatred that lead her to murder a black man.

Her biggest fault is utter stupidity. It's a shame that a fine man is dead because of it.

Hey Jackie you may be totally right but I sure as hell wouldn't want you sitting on my jury

Btw, should we give her 2 years for being white and stupid, or give her life with out parole for murder like they would a black person?

White and stupid is a great new strategy. It gets you a lot less time. You can basically sell your country out and get 2 weeks in jail based on the " I'm white and stupid" defense

Hell, now days you can become POTUS based on "I'm white and Stupid"

I don't know the truth of exactly what happened in this case but I would be pretty upset about a cop shooting anyone in my family in their own home. Even a liberal deserves to not be killed in their own home!!

Jackie,
That's what I thought too. That she was drunk or something. But after her results came back clean I see this now as a very tragic accident. Back when I was in housing,I was doing a unit by unit inspection on a large property. It was an occupied property. After a few hours of this - myself and another employee started walking another bldg - after getting thru half of this bldg we realized we had already inspected it. All those units just looked the same despite the fact they were occupied and not just vacant. We realized our mistake when we entered an apartment and the resident said to us - "hey, you've already been here!" We were very tired by that point and didn't even realize it!

I think she will get Manslaughter. As she did take a human life but I don't think it was with malice.

Watch this video. This is how quickly it can go bad. In a blink of the eye, a mother, daughter, and a sister almost died. Don't harp too much on cops use of lethal force. Their job is very dangerous.
