Will you write/accept a check?

Would someone ever ask to write a check, and if they did, what would be your answer?

I'll bet there's an app for that. Should be able to scan the check and put it right into you bank account. Provided you have a bank account, and a smart phone, and an internet connection, and a trusting soul, and an extra 15 minutes to wait while the transaction clear.

The real question should be, would you take a post-dated check...

It's not part of my normal protocol but I would consider taking a check from you jj. If you are low on cash I also take payment in the form of beer, pork skins, tuna and catnip.
