This is sort of like the other thread about polititians lying. They all speak in half truths, and convieniently leave out things that do not support their argument.

Most of this pablum is for the party faithful. And both parties are equal in their misrepresenting of the facts.

In other words, they are depending on the Voter being stupid enough to swallow their crap.

Some 3.4 million men and 1.8 million women have lost jobs since the recession started, according to the government.

When Obama took office, unemployment for men (8.6 percent) was already sharply higher than for women (7 percent). The rate peaked for men at 11.2 percent in October 2009 and for women at 9 percent a month later.

Since then, the gap has nearly closed. Last month, the rate was 8.3 percent for men and 8.1 percent for women.

So you're saying Obama is finally doing as good a job as Bush did. That's comforting.

White women, mainly.

Roughly 136,000 white women left the labor force in March. Their participation in the job market has been slowly dropping since mid 2009, and now it's at levels not seen since 1996.
