circle the wagons, paw!

remember jayson blair?

the new york times reporter who, after much angst was expended in attempts to keep him (most likely because he was a person of color), was finally fired by the times for fabricating stories

now both the new york times and the washington post won pulitzer prizes for trump/russian collusion stories

who is getting fired now? no one of course

will the Pulitzer committee demand the prizes back? not a chance

here's wapo in 2018 congratulating itself and the new york times on the prize award and at the same time attacking trump, of course,

and they did all this with bravery and derring-do all in the face of danger

{these stories}"were produced amid unusually harsh criticism, including from the president himself."

"The Russia-related stories shared the Pulitzer for national reporting with the New York Times, which was recognized for its work on the same topic. Post reporters have now won or shared the national reporting Pulitzer four times in the past four years.

The Post’s Russia stories contained several startling revelations: that Michael Flynn, Trump’s designated national security adviser, had discussed lifting U.S. sanctions on Russia with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak during the presidential transition period, potentially in violation of the law; that acting attorney general Sally Yates had told the White House that Flynn had misled senior officials, including Vice President Pence, about his Russia contacts, making him vulnerable to Russian blackmail; that attorney general-designee Jeff Sessions failed to disclose two conversations with Kislyak when asked about contacts during his confirmation hearing; and that Trump revealed secret intelligence to Kislyak and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in an Oval Office meeting in May. The newspaper also published a lengthy account of President Barack Obama’s struggle to retaliate against Russian President Vladimir Putin’s interference during the 2016 campaign, and explored Trump’s unwillingness to confront the issue of Russian election interference.

The news about Sessions’s undisclosed encounters prompted him to recuse himself in March from an investigation of Russia’s election conduct. Sessions then appointed his deputy, Rod J. Rosenstein, to oversee the investigation. The New York Times subsequently reported that notes taken by ousted FBI director James B. Comey recounted a conversation in which Trump urged Comey to drop an investigation of Flynn. That led Rosenstein to appoint Robert S. Mueller III as special counsel last year.

Throughout it all, Trump denounced The Post’s and Times’s reporting about Russia as “fake news.”

introspection? not a chance!!

What’s amazing is that you honestly believe none of this happened.
There is a parallel universe you live in...
whats amazing is you cant see that the spin on these "events" by these "reporters" was false

that Obama was made out to be a beleaguered hero instead of the real possibility he spied on americans with only hate and politics as the reasons

did they investigate that with an open mind, hell no, that's the real story you know

that trump was always cast in the worst light possible

that the dim spin on things was accepted as gospel by these people, like sessions brief hello to kislyak was seen as nefarious when it was as a senator and not even enough to remember

that they made no attempt to ferret out reality, they spewed spin and innuendo

that the hyper partisan sally yates was a hero to these people

that the kislyak thing had nothing to do with sessions recusing himself, it was that he was involved in the trump campaign

did they report on the hellary campaign and her dossier and russian connections and the soft treatment by the doj and fbi , with fervor and grit?

so much more

Schiff - Waving the "Evidence" in hand

Yet never brings it to the Committee or public.
Yet wants all documents in Mueller Investigation - thinking maybe his "Evidence" will be delivered to him.
He is McCarthyite Liar.
