PSA: National Emergency Alert Test today

For those with hobby phones and a SO you may want to turn them off this afternoon so the alert doesn't go off on them. Just an FYI.

Not having an SO or a hobby phone, what DO guys do with all of the Amber Alerts that we get here in DFW? That would definitely raise questions like, "Honey, ... you have two phones? You never told me. Huh? Your boss gave it to you? Let me see..."

You CAN turn off almost all the wireless emergency alerts, except for presidential alerts.

Turn off the phone when at home. very simple, foolproof solution
