Surprised this topic has not come up.

With the passing of Pete this week, I found this article interesting, especially with MLB relationship with gambling today.

Pete should be in the Hall, especially being the all times hit leader.

... Well, mate... Pete has a really apt saying concerning the
Hall of fame there:

... "That's a pretty nice Hall of Fame they got over Cooperstown.
They got the guy with the Second-Most hits in there.
And the guy with the Second-Most home runs in there, also."

... Reckon THAT pretty much sums it all up. ... R.I.P. there, Pete!
