Should Clients wear cologne?

I know one thing that turns many guys off at strip clubs is strong over powering perfumes and scented lotions on dancers. It leaves too many odors on a person, and it is one way for others to know where you have been.

While I know I need to shower and put on deodorant before seeing a provider, what is the thought about men wearing cologne? Good? Bad?

Yes the folks who buy it in 55 gallon drums and then shower in the stuff. Yuck. A restaurant we used to go to the owner was like that. You'd shake hands with him and you couldn't get the stench off for the rest of the night. I personally go naked (no cologne).

Rule of thumb.......less is more.

But, naked is always GREAT!!

Welcome back. So happy to see you!!! Not that SR hasn't been taking care of me.....err I mean, us. But, I do so miss your posts.

I do not wear scented lotions or perfumes out of respect for my visitors (my clients), and it is not just for discretion - it is also because of people's sensitivity to them (both smell and skin sensitivities). If I have a client request a light scent or we've become friends and it is your preference, then I will schedule you towards the end of my working day (which can occur at anytime, even 9:00AM - LOL) so that it will not prove offensive to any other client by leaving a lingering scent in the room or on the furniture.

I prefer the smell of a freshly showered gentleman and most gentlemen arrive with either no cologne or a with very light hint of cologne. I have had only two or three instances in several years where a gentleman had stepped into a puddle of cologne - and in each instance I either politely asked the gentleman to shower or rescheduled the appointment appropriately.

Elena is correct, less - is best.
