This is hilarious!

$20??? i will give you $5!!! Would you like to see more? That's the house rules! $20!! Don't you think I'm worth it?
Is this what happens at Studios and AMPs???

I wouldn't know.

This should be a training video at all Studios !!

I wonder if this is how the Studios train their girls!!

$45 for full service, that is cheap now but it wasn't cheap then!!

Adjusted for inflation to 2019 money:

$20 is $113
$30 is $170
$45 is $255

In 1973, minimum wage was $1.60 per hour

Average Income per year $12,900.00
Average Monthly Rent $175.00
Cost of a gallon of Gas 40 cents
Cost of an average automobile $2,900.00
A Dozen Eggs 45 cents
Pork Roast Lb 59 cents
Mortons TV Dinner 36 cents

He ripped himself off:

he is out $40,
he cut his own session short and he didn't get anything!!

Now if you think about it:

$45 and the minimum wage is $1.60.

That guy will have to work 33 hours to earn enough money to pay the $45.

It comes out to $52.80 and then you take out taxes and social security - there should be enough left to pay $45.

The minimum wage in Texas is $7.25.

$7.25 by that same 33 hours is $239.25 and then you take out taxes.

That's the same price of going to a studio or a massage place and getting just L2 at $200 or under.

Work another 16-17 hours and you will have another $100 (after taxes) to upgrade to L3.

Prices and cost of living really have changed much since 1973 but livable wages haven't caught up with them.

I like how she keeps asking:

In 46 years we have evolved from "Would you like to see more?" to "Would you like to upgrade?"

Then when he said he wasn't going to get the full service, she kept asking him:

is it the $30?

I also likes how she tries to build rapport with him:

"I hope you become my favorite new customer. You are strong. You remind me of Clark Gable in Gone With the Wind if he had red hair! Don't you think I'm worth $20?"

She is good at selling it.

Also at the beginning of the above clip, she said he paid for 30 minutes:

that clip was the beginning of the movie before the opening credit sequence.

I've gone back further into the movie and there were 2 scenes showing the customer walking in and picking a girl and paying the house fee which was shown to be $18.

I like how they do it too - no talking and the system the massage parlor has put in place for the customer to pick a girl - nothing that can incriminate you if the law has planted hidden audio recording devices.
