Wondering if anyone knows who these old movie stars are ...

I love to hunt antique stores for little treasures and yesterday I acquired a little black lacquer box that opened up to contain four photos of movie stars... I was wondering if anyone could help me name the stars and that would help me date my antique... I'd love any information about the four stars anyone would be willing to share with me... Thanks this might be fun...

First pic is kind of dark and hard for me to see.

2nd pic is Gregory Peck
3rd pic I think is Rita Hayworth, I'm not sure.
4th pic is Van Johnson

Perhaps CAREFULLY remove pics from frames and that would allow a clear pic shot of pics.
Also allow the inside glass to be cleaned.
Last, pics might be labeled (on backs of pics)

Did I mention the little black box that unfolds into the four pics is only about an inch square... the pics are miniatures!

I'm not going to mess with it any, I wonder if it is very collectible or has any value... seemed like an out of the ordinary little find...Be cool if it was.

I also got this beautiful cigarette case and matching lighter the same day... They are in perfect condition like they were brand new...

That's quite a good find on the pics. It could be shots from a movie that they did together. Though I couldn't tell you what film it might be. I agree that pic 3 is probably Vivien Leigh. Pic 2 and 4 are definitely Gregory Peck and Van Johnson. No idea who the first pic is. My advice would be to take it to an antique dealer and have it appraised.

They might be able to put you in touch with an expert on classic movie actor filmographies.

If that's the case then it rules out Gregory Peck, Rita Hayworth and Van Johnson. Those three weren't in that movie. The first pic could maybe be Olivia de Havilland.

I'm thinking they're not all from Gone With the Wind since pics 2 and 4 certainly look like Gregory Peck and Van Johnson.
