Hobby Name...

Ok, so another thread about age..weight..got me to thinking...about the info we use in our showcases. I understand that for many, having a "Hobby Name" is mostly for privacy and security.. and I completely understand that.

But.. does it bother you when you have regulars who you see a lot, and they call you by your hobby name?

It bothers me.. lol.

I have gotten really close to some guys I see, we know and talk about a lot of "personal", non hobby things when we are together.. and not ONLY that, but when I am getting the shit fucked out of me and it feels so damn good... it kind of throws me off when I all the sudden hear "OHHHH NIKKI"...

So let me hear it... guys and ladies.

I generally go by 2Dogs in public but BCD I prefer to be called to dinner.

Appropriate Provider's reply should be - " Call me whatever you want, just call me".

Lol, it's funny you mention that.
Some I tell my name just so they don't have to feel corny calling me "out of bounds" yet they still use that moniker. More likely it's easier to remember.

I generally go with when the Provider has crossed the line to referring to herself by her real name via text or email. When she crosses that line, then I will follow suit.

A lot of times you guys, have screen names that stand out..
I mean, for the guy who comes once, twice, or even often, I see just sticking with "Nikki". Or if you do not really "click" with or get too "personal", then I can see just the hobby name.. but when it gets to knowing a lot about each other, or seeing you more than twice.. I just say hey... My real name is .... and you can just call me that."

For some reason, although this is all a "fantacy", I would much rather have some one call me... by MY name.. But that is just my opinion.

I don't think its unusual to develop friendships with providers you see on a regular basis. I have had quite a few providers who preferred I use their real name instead of their hobby name so I guess its just a personal preference. I have always used my first real name with everyone I've seen.

Whether I use my real world name or a fake name, how would a provider know? Neither matches what's on my ID if a provider ever asks for it, which no one ever has.

I actually prefer Dee or dallas...in fact,I use both in my "public" life alot!
