Exhibit 1: Real Clear Politics Democratic Nomination Polling:

Prior to the slug fest over the Whistleblower, which kicked off around September 20, Biden had consistently led Warren in polls by double digit averages. In the last six polls completed after September 20, Warren led in four and Biden led in three. Only the Economist/YouGov poll was conducted after the Ukraine shit really hit the fan, and it shows Warren with a 6 point lead.

Collectively bettors now believe Warren has a 51% probability of getting the nomination, versus 21% for Joe Biden. [Aside: Andrew Yang at 12 cents is a great short. Does anyone here believe he has a 12% chance?]

Click on the 90 day chart. Since the Whisteblower became news, Trump has slipped from a 42% or 43% probability of winning to 40%. Warren has come up from around 31% or 32% to 36%. Biden's odds have been slipping really since early August, and he's gone from around 21% to 13%.
Exhibit 3: Real Clear Politics Trump vs Biden Polling

The Ukraine fiasco may actually be helping Trump versus Biden. The last two polls show Biden only winning by 1% in once instance and losing to Trump by 4% in the second. The second poll was done by Rasmussen, which does tend to be overly optimistic for Republican candidates. Biden was ahead by double digit averages in prior polls.
Exhibit 4: Real Clear Politics Trump vs Warren Polling
https://www.realclearpolitics.com/ep...rren-6251.html
Warren has historically led Trump by single digits. There's only been one poll, conducted on 9/21 to 9/23, since. You'd suspect that Warren's numbers will go up and Trump's down as additional polling data becomes available, after the Whisteblower got into the news.
What does this mean? Biden's being hurt worse than Trump by what's going on. It's too early to tell whether Trump will come out the winner. He's making Biden, the one candidate who looked like he could blow Trump out of the water, unviable, and making Warren the most likely Democratic candidate. This could be better for Trump, in that he'll likely be running against a weaker candidate. It could be worse because the impeachment hearings and the press about asking foreign governments to investigate the Bidens will hurt him.
I'd prefer Biden 1000X over Warren, so don't like the way this is developing. Based on the polls, if the election were held today, Warren might have a little better than a 50% chance of beating Trump, and that number will grow as the impeachment process goes on. Warren is this country's worst nightmare. Her proposed policies towards taxes, spending and carbon emissions would hurt the economy in a big way.
