Language barrier at the drive-thru....

Rarely do I ever order food at the drive-thru. However, I have noticed that most of the people "on the other end of that pedestal" simply cannot communicate past the items on the menu and the dollar amount. If I deviate from those two concepts, it turns to a frustrating experience as a result of the language barrier.
