Sushi Roku at the forum shops. For steak, all the big casinos have good ones. For an old Vegas flavor, try the Golden Steer on Sahara just off LVB kitty-corner from the Sahara.
I stopped at the steakhouse at The M Resort last week and it was awesome! Way south on the strip but worth the drive.
I also like the steakhouse in CircusCircus, they grill over real mesquite wood right in front of you. Gives that great flavor that I miss from my Texas days!
SW Steakhouse and craftsteak are my two faves. For sushi I like Okada, Nobu, and two local places near me. Naked Fish and Sen of Japan (ex Nobu head chef owns it and if you go late at night on the weekend you have a good chance of seeing agassi.)
This may sound hinky, but I recently ate at the steakhouse at Circus Circus. It was awesome! Very upscale compared to the atmosphere in the casino. The best part is they cook all their steaks over mesquite wood; gives it that great Texas flavor that I miss everywhere else.
You have your standard chain stake houses like Morton's, Lawry's and Ruth's Chris... But, for the price - the best is at the Circus Circus...if you don't mind walking through one of the lowest end casinos in Vegas...Another great place is called the Cut @ The Palazzo Casino.
If you go to Sushi Roku or SUSHISAMBA at the Palazzo you won't be disappointed.
