In town for a couple days and all these reviews seem at least a feed months old. Was wondering if anyone had been to the local strip club recently and if it was still pretty bad or if there was at least some nice scenery. Think the local one is called the horseshoe???

I haven't been to the ol horseshoe in many years, reviews still about sum up my experience there about 15 years ago. If you're able, may reconsider to Mobile. The Candy Store is around Theodore and I'm thinking The Lionz Den is right there close as well. Good luck

I wouldn't go there even if they were open which I'm not sure if they are or not. I passed by the building during the daytime last week and it is rundown. There was a pickup truck backed in front. No other signs of anyone around, looks deserted. Doesn't look up to code or in use.
Mobile would be a better bet. An hour drive. The candy store on Hwy 90 used to be ok. Haven't been there in 12 years.

Don't waste your time it's terrible. I did a review of it months ago check it out and save your time and money. Take the extra drive to scuttlebutts or go to mobile

I couldn't find the Lionz Den using goggle maps a few days ago so not sure if they are still open or not. Popped by the Candy Store. They were some nice looking women there but I had forgotten how hard they push for you to buy the girls drinks. Also lost me was when I was told that each girl can charge her own rate for lap dances with the norm being 40 a song. Sorry but I am a cheap bastard and I know the girl is unlikely to do enough to justify that rate.

I know the owner of the Horseshoe and there is no reason to go there unless you like just handing your money to a stranger for no valid reason at all. Its a dump, No alcohol allowed per City Regulations, No nudity allowed by same regulation, Massive head games is the order of business when they decide they have enough women to justify leaving on the lights and saying they are open....Most nights no one shows up....
