I can accept 2/3 of the Federal government and a majority of the states in conservative control .... to protect the existing status quo. Reconstructing the Constitutional foundations of this country will be a challenge and Executive Orders won't carry the day.

I can't provide a link to it as I don't remember where I read this. oh, yeah. i rememeber now. it was in the history books. it was mentioned off hand, like a throw away statement. it was strange to see it in the history book.
