I don't where you got your info. It is closer to 120 miles via US 87 and TX 349. There is 10 mile stretch with road construction reduced to one lane and you may have wait up to 30 minutes before you can go through. Then, it may take another 10 minutes to get through it, since you will travel 20 to 30 mph.
