That depends on whether you mean ______ cuisine in its native environment, or as experienced here in the US. In their own locales, their are many exceptional cuisines around the world. Many of them don't translate well when they cross our border, and that is true going in the other direction as well.

That said, my most exceptional dining experiences, at almost every price point I can think of, have been in Italy.
