Planning on hitting the road and Omaha is on my list first!!

For the best view in the area, you'll have to cross the river and go to Hitchcock Nature Center. Light hiking will get you to some of the most beautiful overlooks. Best casual food in the area is (IMHO) Block 16 in downtown Omaha.

Surfside Club is a cool place north of town on the river. Pretty drive to get there. If not too hot great place to sit and eat. They have bands play outside on the weekends.

the zoo is a big attraction
