Restaurants still kickin

What restaurants that survived covid are a must visit?

Alla famiglia and Vivo are at the top of my list currently.

Arlecchino is the same as A la Familia but a better atmosphere and safer location:

Il Burloni is along the same lines. Less expensive and BYOB. It’s pretty small tho:

Arlechino is fantastic. It's on the high side of the price scale, but all my meals there have been pretty memorable.

In the city, I like Altius, Mallorca and Bridges & Bourbon. If you're into Thai, Pusadee's Garden is worth a visit.

Mallorca is fantastic!!

Deblaze in Bridgeville has some good food too for a sportsbar/family mix atmosphere.

Tessaro's in Bloomfield, if it survived the pandemic.

Girasole in Shadyside.

Grand Concourse for Sunday brunch.

For brunches I also like the Original Pancake House.

Pusadee's is a nice evening dining experience. The recent remodel created a very nice environment for a bit of a different dining experience than most places around. Ambiance and good food make it a top pick for ethnic food in the Burgh.
Jafres is pretty good, located just east of Greensburg, before the mall.
Do not go to Ditkas. We had 5 people at our table. Steaks were horrible!! Dry and overcoked. For their price point, the steaks should have been perfect.
I’ve heard alla famiglia is awesome! Hard to get a table unless you plan weeks in advance.

A couple people noted Mallorca and I agree . Although they have been closed for awhile and not sure if there is a reopening plan .

I forgot about The Commoner. I love that place and agree with the comment on how good their cocktails are. It gets a pass from a lot of locals because it's seen as a hotel bar, but it's well worth a visit.

On another note, it's sad to see the Carlton go. That definitely marks the end of an era.
