Maybe I am being paranoid, but what are the chances a provider would be helping my SO catch me in a trap? Has it ever happened before? The reason I ask is, a provider that I have been in contact with has said a few things about me that I don't remember telling her.

I have no idea if you're being paranoid or not, but I can't imagine why any reputable provider would go along with such a plot. That would be career suicide.

Maybe the provider he contacted is really his wife and he's fixing to find out what she does with her free time.
