Just a light thread....wanted to share and know what your favorite things in life are.

Mine in no particular order:

My Children

Children's laughter (specifically when my daughter was just a baby...her first giggles were sooo sweet...brought tears to my eyes...I'm a sentimental sap! I acted like a total goof ball for her just to hear that infectious giggle)

Laughter in general...makes the heart lighter

Dancing...also good for the soul, and great exercise

American Beauty Rose bushes....that scent is heavenly to me

Sitting in a lounger, ocean front, just people watching.....nothing like the water, sand and sun for me

Walking barefoot on thick luscious grass

Witnessing a true and unexpected act of kindness

Chocolate...need I say more? LOL

Books!

Sexy shoes....

Meeting people....Almost everyone is interesting to me

A really good party

Good Friends....I treasure each

A good massage....especially my feet...LOL

These are not all...just a few I thought I'd share....looking forward to knowing your favorite things

2. Baseball game on a spring day
3. Golf on a good course with good weather
4. Cooking my own Rib Eye on the grill
5. Two bisexual blonds on a water bed.....need I say more?
6. Beachie vacations....fun in the sun...drinks at night by the beach...

You nailed it Yaddayadda, except I always hated water beds. Golf at The Tribute on a windy day makes me feel like I am in heaven.

In no particular order MY favorite things, people, stuff in life are: ....

That feeling I get when it's time to leave work on a Friday.

My mother and sister. (big mama boy here)

Having some money, and time. With all my bills paid, gas in the car and food.

Getting dressed up, a fresh hair cut, and somewhere to go. (hopefully my car is clean)

Downloading old music I grew up on, or finding a new sound. Good Rap music, the type of rap with meaning to the rhymes or clever word play.

Daydreaming, thinking, or just holding conversations in my mind.

Being young, black, single and living alone.

Poetry.. reading and writing. Singing out loud. (if only I had a piano.)

Being myself around people who care for me.

Seeing a mother and child together, smiling.

Going home to where I grew up, to see what I came out of.

Large crowds of happy people. (.. I love to see happy black people. sue me.)

Comfortable days with sunshine and gray clouds with drizzle.

Meeting and talking to different people.

Sex with love involved.

Silent looks from "her" .. just carving thoughts into each others mind.

and .. a lazy day with "her". We'll touch a cloud and waste time together just talking.

There's more, but I'll leave it at those few.

YY...thanks babe! '-) Ribeye is my fav steak too and no better way to have than cooked yourself on your own grill!!! I bought some at the grocery store today....hopefully this weekend sometime I can do that!

St. Mateo I love musicals and that was one of my favs as a kid! I have my own copy and watch it from time to time and that song always sticks in my head. Was humming the song when I decided to start this post.....so yes, it was inspired...LOL

In no particular order:

Hearing my son laugh.
When my son asks me for help or when he says "daddy"
A full tank of gas that gets me over 400 miles to a tank.
Extra money in my bank account.
Rain on a Friday afternoon, but not a flood.
When my windshield is clean (big pet peeve).
When all my favorite songs are being played on Pandora while at work.
Making my monthly payment on my new car. New as in 2010.
Going out with my BFF to the clubs or bars and getting numbers.
When the Rangers win. Especially when they beat the Yankees.
Going home early on Friday after everyone leaves.
Barbe-ques with my sisters.
