For all my WWE Fans!

Who is your favorite old school or current wrestler??
I love Paul Heyman & Brock Lesner(The Beast), also love me some Randy Ortin.

Super ShowDown was freaking awesome, currently rewatching the 3hour event now!

I liked Brutus the barber beefcake. I thought it was funny to watch him cut hair off the loser. There was this other guy who had a move called the chicken wing he looked strange. Of course hulk and andre. Gotta give an honorable mention to the late great Miss Elizabeth. I enjoyed that period with the managers.
I guess I am behind the times. I stopped watching wrestling when when Paul Boesch retired.
Do you remember him Trey?

IMHO wrestling went way down when McMahon bought WCW and there was only one wrestling federation. Outside of classic wrestling from the 60's through the 80's, the best era of wrestling is when the WWF (WWE since then) was showing shows the same time as WCW during the Monday night wars.

I used to love wrestling late 90s early 2000s but I'm just not into it these days

I will never understand why people enjoy fake wrestling. Maybe it's like today's action movies people enjoy knowing it's not real, but love the action and violence.

I still remember Toru Tanaka from the 1960's and my Grandfather thinking it was real, "Those guys sure are rough."

It's entertainment. Sure it's not "real" but those damn injuries sure are. I remember seeing Beyond the Mat explaining that every slam on the canvas was almost similar to a football tackle. The body can only take so much.

My favorite were Razor Ramon and Owen Hart.

I used to giggle at people that thought the wrestlers hated each other and bought into the story lines. WWF went to Corpus Christi for a show in the 80s. Hulk Hogan and the Macho Man were arch enemies. We were driving down the seawall and there is Hulk Hogan, Macho Man, and all of the other wrestlers jogging along the seawall laughing and carrying on. My friend was devastated that they were all buddies. I still give him shit about it.
When i was in elementary school, we had Gino Hernandez come for career day. I remember the Paul Boesch I.W. Marks commercials.

Of course wrestling is fake. Watch as Mick Foley (Mankind) got thrown off the top of a cage and there was a force field that stopped him 3 inches from the table.

After this the tough son of a bitch (said with much respect) Foley continued on with the match and finally lost after being thrown on a bed of tacks.

Bottom line is that the story lines are fake, however the athletes are real.
