I think most people know you can get testing done rather inexpensively at Dallas County HHS. However, the mobile clinics do not even charge the $20 fee, and most of them offer results before you leave. You also visit with a nurse, and they will provide treatment should you report any symptoms.
They will also give you a nice supply of condoms.
Check their website for a location near you - it changes each day of the week.

I've actually looked at "in-home" testing and you can get the kits ranging anywhere between $150-$299" for Chlamydia/Gonorrhea. The kit provides 20-25 tests...so that drops the price to pretty much peanuts, but its a large upfront cost.
