Backpage

Since the closure of escorts.com, we have limited dedicated advertising venues here in the Panhandle. Thus, some of us resort to Backpage. As a provider, here is my take on that.

The worst thing about it is the reputation it has. Also, most of the inquiries a BP ad generates are creeps that just waste your time.

On the other hand, the best thing about BP is that first timers in the hobby may know of no other venue, and it is a chance to meet those guys. And while there are a lot of sleazy people advertising there, if a client is looking for something a little better, a classy lady will stand out. My BEST client of all time came from the old Craigslist. He was not a regular hobbyist and did not know of Eros, Eccie, P411 or any other adult site.

Of course, I screen the same way no matter where the inquiry comes from! Be safe y'all!

BP does have a bad stigma especially from those not new to the hobby. On the other hand it can be a great source for new talent.

The worst part of BP in the area is the amount of fake (false) pictures that are on there... I tineye photos constantly even though I will not see a provider unless she is reviewed somewhere. I read on another BP post here that tineye only does file names and that is not true. What I find really amusing is when I tineye a photo that has the face cropped off and I get results that have the uncropped photo.
