Best hole in the wall bar?

Hey guys I'm out here bored as hell in NOLA this Sunday! Anyone know of some good hole in the wall bars? I've been to a few but I know NOLA has so many I don't know exactly where to look.

XOXO

Dive bars there is the John in the Marigny. For a little more upscale the Carousel bar in the FQ is underrated in my opinion. Wine bars I like Delachaise Uptown.
Is Snake and Jake's still open? I didn't really know what a dive bar was before I went to that joint for the first time.

ETA Ms. Mae's on Magazine is a fine time as well.

Not a dive bar, but a cool place to go is Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop, the oldest bar in the country. Especially at night. Only lit by candles on the tables except for a few lights behind the bar.

941 Bourbon St., at St. Phillip
Lafitte's is about the only acceptable place on Bourbon anymore IMO.
Johnny Whites - 738 St Peter St
Oooooooo........ I had absinthe at Lafitte's! The ritual was SO cool! Slowly dripping water onto the spoon with the sugar cube! Very cool indeed!
Chart Room in the Quarter. By far the best.
