Always looking at the phone.

I'm sure that it has been covered here before but I wish people would would stop looking at their phones. I think it is very rude if I'm with a provider and they keep looking at their phone. Or worse yet jumping up and running to go get it to answer it. I'm spending my money for your attention, not for you to talk to someone else on your phone. I don't care if it is your next client or your Father. Turn OFF the phone they can call back later.

Ladies how would you lie to be at your gynecologist and have them keep answering their cell phone while you are laying on the table with your feet up. You are paying the doctor for their services not to listen to them talk on their phone.

How would you like it if I was calling my next provider while fully in gauged with you. "Yea, this one is so bad I can't wait to come and see you."

Ok I'll get off my soapbox now.
unprofessional if you ask me. I turn the ho phone off once he is in the door. There is absolutely no reason to have it on... unless youre doing back to back.. in which case... gross.

I've had that happen a few times, I won't be seeing those ladies again.

I make it a point to put my phone on silent/vibrate in front of her but some don't or won't take the hint.
I agree with the OP. Very rude and unprofessional behaviour. My phone stays off during paid times, as it should.

I wish I could say the ladies jumping up to check their phone was a rare thing.. but its not. However, it DOES shorten the list of ladies I'll go back and see, because those that watch the phones, aren't on the list.

Ugh ......
And Henry no excuse me sir but my phone goes on silent and out of sight.
I can break away from during an appt. I put it away when he comes in and don't look at it until he leaves .... common sense isn't common for some tho.
And unless it's playing porn, turn off the damn TV! If porn is playing, turn off the sound. I want to hear you, not some porn star!

Wow ... I am surprise to hear that happens. I have never once, unannounced, answered my phone while with a client.

Anytime I HAVE TO answer my phone, I will tell the gent as soon as he walks in .... "I'm expecting a call from Comcast around 2pm, so if my phone rings I will need to answer it for just a moment" or "My mom is going to be calling when she is done at the doctors office so if she calls, I will need to answer for just a few seconds."

But other than that ... I'm not answering my phone.

I swear, some of these bitches need a reality check as to how you act when someone is paying for your time!!!!!!!

Hmmm...if this is a continuous pattern, it definitely speaks wonders on the caliber of providers you have a tendency to select.
