Question about using CCBill for upgrading to Premium Access

I tried CCBill's Web site, and even emailed them, but I still couldn't find a definitive answer to my questions.
So, I thought this might be the place to ask.
If this is the wrong area for these questions, then will a moderator please move this to the proper area?

That said, my questions to all is:
(1) - If I use CCBill - using my CC - do I HAVE to subscribe and get a CCBill account during the payment process? Therefore incurring future monthly charges.
(2) - When you use the CCBill button to pay, is there a "One Time Use" option that bypasses the subscription process?
(3) - If there is a one-time option, is there a charge for the transaction itself, and if so, how much is it?

I've read in several places, found by using Google, that it can be a hassle to get UN-subscribed before getting multiple monthly charges to your CC.
I went to the first page that comes up after clicking on the pay button and the first step is to enter all of your info - CC info, address, etc.
I don't want to put in all of that info only to find out later that a subscription is mandatory, or there is a high fee to pay.
In that case, I would cancel the payment at that time, and I would just get a MO and mail it to ECCIE instead. Soooo 20th Century - LOL
But, they would already have my information.
I had my identity stolen once - about 25 years ago. It took 10 years to finally get everything back to normal. So, I am fairly gun shy now.

I would really like to hear from any of you who have actually used the CCBill button to pay for Premium access.
Is it safe? Do you get pounded by spam in your email, and at your home address?
Are there any other downsides I need to know about?
I'm a widower, so using my home address isn't a problem for me (unless my mailbox fills up with spam, of course).
But, in order to be discrete, I would think giving out your home/billing address could be a big problem for some of you. ;-)

Well, that's it for now. So, please, let me know of any experiences - good and bad - that you have personally had with CCBill, please.
I would certainly appreciate your help and advice.

TIA,
Ron

I've used CCBill for several sites. As far as I can recall I never had to join and never had an issue. Of course, things change all the time, but it was never a problem for me in the past.
Thanks - their site has lots of info for merchants, but very little for consumers wanting to use it to pay for something.

My credit card did have a $3 foreign exchange fee added.
No problems here.
