Scary stuff for admirers and companions in TX

As of Sept 1 it will be a "state jail felony" if convicted of paying someone for sex.
It's being touted as a crackdown on sex trafficking (which I have no problem with as trafficking is a vile practice), but it applies to consenting adults as well.

it’s actually been like this for almost a year to now it’s been considered a felony about a year so now!
They’re probably just now starting to really enforce it
