I don't believe this rumor. The same kinda speculation circulated thru the Dallas real estate community as the Bush term came to an end.

Obama's ego is too big to be isolated 6 time zones away from the media center of the universe - NY-Washington.

He might get a vacation home in Hawaii, but his main residence will be in the Continental US. His world speaking engagements (most lucrative source of income) will require him to be in the States. Besides, he is going to have to be available to defend his legacy....in the courts, media, and public opinion arena.

But if a rumor of him shopping for a home in Tehran or a dacha in Russia starts up ????
