Trends in Provider Preferences

Howdy.

Some friends and I were planning a trip to Dallas for this weekend and we happened to notice a trend that we would like more information on.

It seems that many providers don't see black men. I was wondering why this was.

I ask because one of my buddies is black and when he found this out, he immediately was against Dallas as a weekend vacation.

Any info the community could provide would be awesome!

Thanks again!
Please, don't let a small number of ladies preferences stop you from coming here. Lots of ladies do see AA men. There is no specific Dallas area bias here. There are also women who don't see latinos, or asians. You would have to ask them why.
Tell your friend that yes, there are a few and they're very open about it. But there are so many more lovely, intelligent, hot, sensual, sexy, amazing women that only care about the quality of the gentleman and would love to spend some time with a great guy and make him happy. So, get your butts over here!
Oh no, not this again.

Look, it's not a Dallas thing. That kind of policy is GENERALLY found in ladies with 'management'. It's not specific to Dallas. It's common knowledge that pimps do not allow their wares to be frequented by AA men. The ladies who do see AA men (or any other race for that matter) don't always advertise that, because of all the hobbyists who have a problem it. Which, for the record, is probably the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. They are okay with a girl doing her thing with 5 guys a day, but see an AA client and you are off their 'list'. So stupid.

Then, there are those of us who don't give a shit what anyone thinks.

The only problem I foresee would be a lack of references or p411. If he has no references/p411, it might be hard to get an appointment.

Hope all works out for you guys!
Dannie hit the nail on the head. The girls with pimps wont let them see other black guys because they fear that guy is a pimp in hobbiest clothes trying to steal their girls. There are some older girls who don't see AA men because of personal preference or they have had a bad experience. I couldn't care less if a provider sees a black guy as long as he wasn't there just before me. I'm afraid my shortcomings would be that much more apparent.

From these replies , are we to assume pimps are only black ? Really? Back in the 70's I knew the guy that had one of the first "escort" services in Dallas. He had a stable of about 6 ladies . He was white. Let's not assume all pimps are black or have big dicks.
It's personal choice both ways. Some Hobbyists won't schedule with a black Provider and vice-versa. Your buddy needs to open his eyes and see the world as it is; namely people have a right to their preferences. Just because one Provider says "No" doesn't meanaanother won't say "Yes." If he wants some of the fine Dallas tail then he'll go out and get it. Unless you're Tony Romo there's not a lot of pussy that'll just drop in your lap.

Thank you all so much for responding. I didn't realize that this was something that had been discussed before otherwise, I would have just gone to that thread instead of starting a new one.

I recognize and acknowledge that Providers are to some extent at the mercy of the hobbyist, and sometimes, the preferences of the hobbyists can have a direct effect on the behavior of the provider.

I read a few articles on topix about this and someone suggested that it might have to do with physiological incompatibilities. It also went to state that some providers worry about the quality of their assets depreciating considerably after seeing multiple AAs.

What experiences have providers had with their AA (if any) clients. Also, to what degree do you worry about seeing an AA. Please feel free to be frank.

I realize that because of the preferences of hobbyists, some of you may not feel comfortable answering this question in an open forum such as this. Feel free to PM me your experiences.

Let's say that rather than saying "No AA men" a provider simply charged AA men $100-$200 more. On top of that, they had to provide references. He says that he has no problem being charged more and providing references, but when he feels like there is no recourse available to him, it makes him feel discriminated against.
There's a ton of beautiful black women in and around Dallas, several of them are recognized Providers on this board. Have an employee in my office that's a dead ringer for Naomi Campbell when she was younger, though she's way too polite to hit people with phones, accept blood diamonds from African dictators or perjure herself.
Let's not sugar coat it for the guy. It's more than a few. This is Texas. We're not as progressive as other areas. I include myself in this bucket. I didn't see my first ebony provider until last year because of preceived notions about black people (I am to embarrassed to say what they were). Old assumptions and beliefs die hard. The hobby lags society in this respect because ladies feel more vulnerable.

About half of providers in Dallas will not see black men. Some proudly advertise it. others are more subtle. But still leaves a lot of ladies for your black friend to choose from. Just look at some of the ladies in this thread.

Yes, some ladies do this because of pimps. But a lot do it because of personal preference. A number of top providers who are in their 20s and early 30s have thus policy.

Of course there can be no 'recourse'. Would your buddy feel like he had 'recourse' if his choice of prom date told him to piss off? Help your buddy to understand that participating in the hobby here in Dallas is a 'privilege' made available to us by some great providers as they see fit, not a 'right'.

There are tons of top-shelf providers here in Dallas that will take care of your buddy. Not to worry. Behave well and you'll be well taken care of.
Speak for yourself Bigeddie. Dallas/FTW is a great area and just as progreesive as any other major metropolition area. True, some individuals have issues but that is true any where you go. But to say 1/2 of the providers won't see specific races has no foundation what so ever. I would love to see the data to back that up. America is not perfect. We still have race issues. But, remind your friend, its not him with the problem and there lots of women out there that are color blind. And why would he want to see someone knowing they have issues like this?

I hope you have fun where ever you go.

I guess WALDT, but it is beyond my comprehension why anyone would want to p4p with anyone who did not want to see them. Being an "AA", I have been placed on a few DNS lists, even after screening, lol, but I have never even tried to see a lady with a "published" NBA policy... oh well, go figure!!!
