Memphis and Nashville

I am making a trip down to these two cities in May and I am just wondering if Memphis has a big enough hobby life there to stop in for a few days.. I am not sure where else to post for these cities so I will start here and see what happens lol.

Count on me for Memphis, preferably not downtown.
