When Providers Retire, What do they do?

Dharma had a thread on financial planning for providers which is a great idea.

Angelina had a thread about how long she might work.

I have long wondered what providers do after they retire? I am not asking about a specific person because they would probably want privacy.

But what types of things do the ladies either do or want to do when you retire?
Well to tell you the truth, im not retiring any time soon. I'm still in my 20s and loven every minute of it. But when that time comes mabey 20 years from now, i hope to spend the time with my daughter and move to the country, mabey have a ranch with lots of cattle.
What do providers do when they retire? Come back shortly

(Sorry - just couldn't resist!)

Very few providers have a good financial plan for long-term. I think Casey has done a wonderful job getting herself in a good financial position, and Kayla gives good advice to the girls about planning ahead for slow months and for retirement.

I'll likely still be working my day job long after I leave the hobby.
Funny you mention the country and a ranch Tara.

I pretty much retired from hobbying other than playing on here, and run my families ranch in southwest texas lol. Maybe hobbyists follow the same path?

I love a good retirement post. Especially when they are in the form of a good (Fuck You, I'm never coming back, kiss my hot ass that you wish you could see again) variety, thank you Charlie Knox.

Then you get to play the fun waiting game: when will they crop up again, and will it a different name??

I would never consider myself 'retired' because you just never know. But I'm sure many ladies like myself leave for a while to pursue other interests such as school, business opportunities...or sometimes just love

So, a guy walks into the lobby of the nursing home.

"Sorry, I was just driving by and noticed three of your residents are sitting naked in the front lawn, so I thought you would want to know."

"Oh them, yes, they do that sometimes, you see, they are retired hookers and sometimes decide to have a yard sale for old time's sake."

They milk the poor schmuck who "saved them" from being an escort. Then they come back to find their next victim...

Like Nicole said, they may just retire their old name and come back under another name. The funny thing is, they often use the same damn photographs as before. Wow, that girl looks just like SuzieQ....funny stuff!

The skills you learn in this business, you can easily apply into another occupation. (Almost any occupation.) So I really don't consider the average full-time provider (which moves on-to something else) ever as retired.

As so many others have said 69% end up back in business. (With-out a decade off. Most not even a year.)

Not saying I will never retire or that I don't have a plan. (I had a awesome plan with goals from the beginning.) I just know (and always knew) the chances are, that I will apply most of the skills I learned, after I'm finished. (If that makes sense.)

Hey but to answer the specific question, when I'm done with this chapter of my life, I plan on building my Entertainment Company more. Collecting on my book & movie, working on a reality show. Also I plan on buying some property and moving. Not to even mention the chapter after that.

I know, so much to do, only one person capable of doing it..... and that would be me. Hey, but I'm on the job, paying the taxes, so what the hell.

I plan on going right back to what i was doing before i started providing, working overseas supporting the troops, but in the job field im going to school for now.Its pay better and much more rewarding.

I completely walked away for 9 years. During that time well, I just lived my life. I'm leaving again and you can all bet your sweet asses I won't be back in another 10. LOL I had a short term goal when I came back this past August and I'm on track so....

At the end of March, I'm off to the next chapter and adventure!
