The NFL and ObamaCare

The NFL just agreed to a huge settlement with former players to finance chronic injuries that were sustained during playing years.

Doesn't ObamaCare cover pre- existing conditions? Won't these former players be afforded health insurance through The Affordable Care Act?

Exactly who is really covered by this law, and why should the NFL have pay for something that should be covered?

Also, how do those that live on the fringes of society get registered into The Affordable Care Act? As a good example, many of us on this site see Ladies that, as far as the Government is concerned, are not even employed. The majority of their income is in the underground economy.

This is NOT a political topic. it's a question. the answer is yes. The plan begins next year.

So, Why is the NFL paying into a fund for former players when Obama Care mandates that they have care. In one year, when the plan does kick in, anybody that has any type of pre-existing condition will be able to get health insurance to cover it.

Try having a civil discussion. There are multitudes of questions that need to be answered.

For instance, why are we in the Houston area still going to be supporting the vast free county hospital districts? The way I see it, these should be turned into private facilities for pay, since in theory, everybody will have health insurance.

And the multitudes of Free Clinics that permeate the East Side, mainly serving those that live on the fringe, or are here illegally.

Do you want to carry out the death penalty on people who don't get insurance, or just assess a fine?

Im not angry at all, Goyishe Janitor. Just incredibly annoyed by close minded, xenophobic, homophobic hypocritical assholes like you who want to turn the clock back to the 1850s.

Maybe your shrink has an opinion as to why you're so full of hatred?
