HEP C is NOT sexually transmitted. However it does raise other concerns when it comes to how the disease is transmitted and if she is involved in those practices. That is if she actually has HEP C.
HEP C is normally transmit by blood. Infected blood must enter the body of another. This is usually done with infected needles.
Could be wrong, but unprotected anal could be a key to transmission. Hep A is food, Hep B can be sexual, Hep C normally is blood (needles), and Hep D is only if you have Hep B and still being unsafe....
Hep C can be transmitted by sexual contact with a person and can remain active outside the body on surfaces for two weeks depending on temperature. Use Universal Precautions if you know someone who has or has had this disease.
Like I said HEP C 101
I'm not an expert but I think it's safe to say it is rare for HEP C to be transmitted sexually.
I would be more concerned with what she has done to contact the disease and if she id still involved in that type of activity than getting HEP C from her.
That is again if she does indeed have HEP C.
It could be a malicious prank much like the one done on Brit a few months back on CL

Something someone saw on craigslist for which NONE OF US purport to have firsthand knowledge hardly falls into the ALERT-WORTHY category.
Therefore this was moved to coed.
