Chat not working...help?

Just got back to eccie after being afk for around 5 years or something like that and was checking things out. I tried clicking on chat but it did not work. each browser that I have had another reason. does it not work or am I missing something?

Is chat not used anymore? I feel like I hear crickets chirping lol
