Website or Naw??....

I am debating whether or not to keep my website for another year. I thought I would ask ya'll Eccie folks on your opinion regarding my debate...

Visuals will still be available on Preferred 411 but I'm not sure if I will have any visuals here on my Eccie showcase. Eccie seems too much like backpage these days. Quite frustratiing actually.... Plus my website would only be linked to Preferred 411, as it is now.

Your opinions, comments?..

Thank you!

Where does most of the business come from? Do 100 hits a day (speculating) ln your site equate to a client or 2? I am not a P-411 member so I would not see your profile. Is it worth cutting out non P-411 members? Time for a cost benefit analysis.

As the previous poster said, looking at your web stats should help you make that determination. Also, are you putting ads on your website that generate click through revenue, etc etc (which might pay for it anyway!)

I think websites are an excellent marketing tool. Yours has traditionally been well done, and allows you a marketing option should other places crash (remember what happened to escorts.com). Given the business, it seems having a rock solid backup is a good idea.

If you look at some provider websites... yeah... crappy stuff. Yours being well done differentiates you from other providers and projects an image of class and quality. The comparison alone makes a difference.

Also, it means new folks see you as more reliable/credible, as you have a web presence. Again, mainly for comparisons to other providers.

Besides, they allow you to say or do things that you can't do here! It's a place for your own voice.

Just my thoughts. Keep it.

I would vote to keep the site. you have ultimate control over the content and accessibility.. if you wanna go UTR you can always take down photos, contact info, etc.

and there are excellent points made in this thread about analytics of web traffic -- doing the analysis can tell you if it is worth the time and effort to keep the site.

lastly, it may be a way for your to initial screening of clients... instead of endless texts, PMs or emails... a form on your website can collect initial requests for you
Again on the analytics. Different businesses get different results. I know my biggest clients have come directly from my website (helps to have a number 1 ranking for your search term too!) Also depends on the annual cost and your own impression. I always ask new clients "How did you find me?"

Are you saying you get the same type of client from BP as you do from ECCIE? Or is ECCIE the same as BP as far as volume of appointments you get from ads? Quite frustratiing actually.... Just my 2 cents worth Gemma, but I love your website. It probably put me over the edge in seeing you the first time. Besides, you have some of the most beautiful, classy pictures around and they should be shared!!!
Oh, I missread. Your webpage will still be linked to P411. I'm good:-)
