AVN Awards and Expo (7-9 Jan, 2011)

Hi folks,
Is any one planning to attend AVN Awards or Expo. I will be in Las Vegas for some business deal around same time - want to check out what's it all HYPE about.

Fan Expo: 7 till 9 Jan, 2011 -Sands Expo Center, Las Vegas
Each day ticket: $80 and $100* (* VIP)
And 3 Days ticket: $270* (* VIP)

AVN Awards: 8 Jan, 2011 - Palms Spring Resort, Las Vegas (Ticket: $300)



Just curious, if anyone planning to attend - providers/ hobbyist

If you have SO, better let know your spouse/ GF inadvance - as I heard this Show/ Expo has lot of cameras/people.

You know, being the Perv that I am, I have ALWAYS wanted to check out the AVN awards. They were showing last year's event on Showtime recently. A bunch of drunk, horny harlots running around everywhere. Right up my alley, actually.

Unfortunately, since the friggin' Cotton Bowl is scheduled so late this year, that is where I will be. Geaux Tigers! But, I really must mark the AVN event off my bucket list some day.

If you go, have a crazy time and take pictures!

Have not been to the awards show but, I have been to the Expo at the Sands. Stumbled onto it while at the CES. Had 2 seminars planned for that day and didn't make a damn one of them. That was some fun stuff right there now. Got to talk to Nicci Sterling, and Anna Mauls gave me a T shirt which I had to give away so the SO would not know where I had been. That was a few years ago and now Anna has sinced passed on. I saw the biggest titties of my life there too. I promise they were the size of basketballs and just as round. OH and watch out for the gay booths don't go near them. Steer Clear. LOL Walked by a couple of them and my buddy was looking over at one and the guy behind the booth was making eyes at him. We give him more sh** about that the next two days than the law should allow. Great times and great fun. Check it out you won't be dissappointed. It was hands on then but, don't know about now. Take a camera just in case and get some pics for us guys stuck in Texas!

I went several years ago and had tons of fun. I was with a group of folks that had events planned out for our visit. We had some decent seats at the Awards show and the EXPO was awesome. I actually got to walk the red carpet with the porn stars. It was overwhelming as folks kept stopping us all weekend, everywhere we went, wanting to take pics. We kept telling them we weren't porn stars, but they didn't care. They just wanted pics of sexy girls. We met a lot of people in the industry and saw a lot of very interesting things. This is a "must do" event! We partied like rock stars, went to VIP parties, and were very worn out by the time we made it back to Dallas. I only slept 4 hours the first 3 days we were there. LOL I'm not sure I could ever do that again, but am glad I got to experience it!!! LOL

If any of you guys go out there, look up Alex Arden. She was Penthouse centerfold in '01, living in Vegas now, advertises in Backpage (Backpage is evidently a little different out there than it is here), and has a rate comparable to the better Dallas providers, but not porn star level. She is great.
