So, what kind of specials gets everybody excited? I see Angel in KC has a 30 minute anyway sex for $100 and Autuum has her thirsty Thursday special for $80 and I've even seen Kaylen has an occasional quickie BJ special for $60. What would be a "must-do" special? I think maybe a greek-only special would attract quite a few people or maybe a quickie fetish special...be dominated for 30 minutes at a special price. HJs only? Footjobs only?!! I think a provider could hit the jackpot if they offered the perfect special!

I offer a year round food drive special. During the holidays though, I really push hard to encourage guys to bring a food donation (food and or toys before Christmas) in exchange for $25 off my hour rate. It may not be a big special, but there are plenty of KC families who need the help during the holidays. But it isn't just Thanksgiving and Christmas when we have families struggling to make ends meet and kids going to bed hungry. That is why any day of the year, bring a donation of food, and I will give a discount off my rate.

Every year, it makes me feel terrific to be able to help out those in need during the holidays. It makes my own holiday season just that much better

I think people should be wary of depressing the market in KC or it could end up like Texas.

True. It'll also keep the traveling ladies from visiting as often. Once guys get used to the specials and paying that cheap of a rate, the guys usually have a hard time going back to paying full rate for any lady.

Having read Stacys other thread and "rant"...apparantly there are those in our community that create their own "specials" by shorting providers which is IMO quite insidious and cowardly..especially when it's done by a mod who is supposed to be protecting and not taking advantage of a provider..

I can tell y'all that due to private conversations I've had over the years, providers get shorted more often than we might think...

I'm curious why the ladies don't focus on what they could do to charge more instead of first competing on price?

My suggestion for a special: The DFK HJ. Naked body contact, in an intimate, kissing embrace, while the provider reaches between his legs and rubs him until he finishes.

I offer that cuddlyteddybear, it's one of my a la carte options for $30, but that's just a regular offering, not a special. My one everyday special is $5 off for current military personnel or veterans. Maybe I need to get some bobble-head dolls made up for a promotions week... The Royals always get more people on promotion days. :-p

I like the "Dinner and Dessert" special or things like that, to make a "date" an actual date. Some providers would charge full price if you took them out to a great dinner, or a movie, or drinking, strip club, etc...

But I'd be more than happy to do any of those things if I wasn't paying the top hourly rate for time. Some providers complain they can't book clients (especially in Wichita, where "slowness" claims abound). My point is if I'm dropping $200 in dinner at Chester's, another 200 out becomes more prohibitive.

Or maybe a provider is bored and wants to go hit Jezebel's, molest some strippers with me and work up to some fun fun fun. Again, dropping 2-300 at a club and another 200 becomes cost prohibitive for that time.. and it would probably be more than an hour.

Lastly, I've always though that getting together a group of providers, with some cool folks and going to a strip club for a field trip might be a blast. Maybe the Babes want to organize a field trip

I dunno if that helps... but those are the kind of specials that get me going, one where its a more complete evening. That's a real GFE... and might be fun.

Cool story. I used to have a provider, who I never went BCD with that I used to go out drinking with to commiserate about life (guess she wasnt a provider, lol). I bought the drinks, she supplied a cute dress and heels, we used to hookah, make fun of people and generally have a good time. I'd take care of the check and just tip her for being cool enough to hang out. One day she said, "if you tip me this time I'm going to feel like a hooker, let's hit a movie instead." I laughed and it was a good time. Man I miss that girl, best woman in ICT I never had sex with, lol.

I know providers want to maximize their time, but I'm sure not all of them do. I always wonder how many of them sit home waiting for the phone to ring thinking... man I could be out DOING something... so there ya go

And after the slow season ends and you want to pick your rates back up.....good luck with that. All those $60 Greek appointments aren't going to spend any more money. Why should they? You have already shown you are willing to accept the bare minimum. This ffects other women in the area as well. And while it might be nice to be the most popular cheap date in the city you aren't doing yourself any favors when you want/need to change your rates.

There is some empirical evidence of what LL is saying. This oversimplifies it, but several of the best recent public examples are the housing credit a few years back, cars for clunkers, and 0% financing. The first two boosted sales short term and shoved likely sales into a shorter period, thus reducing future demand in the process. The latter put people in a frame of mind to postpone their purchase decisions in expectation of another incentive program, or negotiate their own. Some products rarely or never go on sale for that reason. In fact, this type of thing is one if the dangers of any stimulus program.
