Quite a few guys I know have either been layed off or their pay cut one way or the other due to oil prices. It always amazed me how the oil business affects most aspects of our lives here in the big state. But when it starts getting in the way of this hobby something has got to give!!! I am contacting my Senator immediately

All of West Texas is not the same. While the decline in oil business may be hurting things in Midland/Odessa, which has been riding high for a while, it has no such adverse effect in El Paso, where I am, and I suspect similar in Lubbock and Amarillo.
My thought exactly. Spread your wings and see the rest of West Texas. PM if you want some ideas.
