Can you change your User Name?

Long story short, I self compromised my User Name. Is there a way to change my User Name without just setting up a new account?

I changed my username fairly early on, but from lnk (all lowercase) to LNK, because people thought I must be tattooed, misreading it for "ink" or "Ink". (All it really is, is the 3 character abbreviation for my local airport.)

As I recall, I asked our local moderator in a PM, the request was submitted to a "higher power", and they approved.

I agree with LNK, submit to your mod. Include a reason why and as long as it's logical they probably will approve.
