As far as GOT. I am a big fan. I drove 5 hours home yesterday just to watch the last show and now I am pissed. 8 years of being one of the best shows on TV and they screw up the ending. I almost could not sleep I was so pissed. It is also the only one of them that I have not watched twice within 12 hours..... :-(

As far as GOT’s final season, I’ll get the positives out of the way. The acting was great as always. I really enjoyed Episodes 1 and 2. Some of the scenes were shot beautifully. The directing was mostly great. The music was awesome as well.

Now it’s time for the bad. From episodes 3-6, the writing was absolute SHIT! They completely betrayed the central characters, Jon and Daenerys. They made Jon come off as weak. The whole Aegon Targaryen storyline was absolutely pointless. The Lord of Light and his chosen prince was complete bullshit. It mounted to nothing. Dany deserved so much more. They turned her into a love struck lunatic for no reason. She deserved a much better death. Jon looked like a little bitch stabbing her like that.

Bran the Broken was a complete cop out. Also, his dumbass remark made it seem like he possibly allowed tens of thousands of people die, so he could be king. They should’ve made the season longer and sent Dany and Jon to war against each other for the throne. Tyrion didn’t deserve to be Hand of the King again either. That position should’ve went to Sanza. Tyrion has repeatedly screwed up over the past two seasons as Dany’s Hand.

I could go on and on, but I was just so disappointed that a show that was on track to be the greatest show of all time went out on that note.
I've never watched GOT. Breaking bad was good but the ending was kinda lame imo. Black mirror was good after the first really dry episode. A bunch more but I was a little enhanced while watching so not sure which factor made them good. The deuce was good once I got into it. And OMG that Latina mmmm.

Oh yeah those ones on HBO about the Michael Jackson kids, forgot the name, then oprah did a special (I hate that racist cunt, well, really dislike her) but that show was disturbing and moving, her special was good too. Poor kids

You know a really cool show is The Circus on Netflix, really cool flick about a cool part of American culture. That one caught me by surprise.
You can kind of tell that in seasons 7 and 8 that they were more focused on hitting each plot point in their outline than really fleshing out and bringing alive the story and characters due to the limited time/resources that they had. I still very much enjoyed it and while not THRILLED, I find the conclusion more satisfying than anything.
I have been a fan of GOT since book two came out around 2000? I was working in a bookstore at the time and got hooked.

I actually liked the ending. I really wish that they had stretched out 7 and 8 into full 10 episode seasons. Devote more character building and have season 7 climax in the battle of Winterfell. And then an entire 10 episode season of Dany losing her grip on reality and turning dark. her descent was expected but it was too swift.

Points I loved about the final season:

Drogon. Dragons are highly intelligent, with an almost psychic bond with their chosen rider. People bitch about Rhaegal and Viserion getting shot down while Drogon decimated the ballista in the final battle. That's the difference of a dragon with a rider vs a riderless dragon. I loved Drogon raging against the throne. And then taking off with her body. I hope he took her back to his birthplace, Khal Drogo's funeral pyre. Let her rest in peace.

Bran - Don't hate it. I was sad to see sam's representative democracy get laughed down. Feels too much like America and special interests these days.

Sansa - She is Queen of the North and doesn't care. I bet a war between her and Yara will happen because Yara is not going to sit idle as one of the 6th kingdoms while Sansa is independent.

Arya - She found peace in exploration. She's gonna go be Dread Pirate Roberts now.

Davos survived!

I was satisfied. I want to devour the books though. Give me Stoneheart.

The Ending was Horrible but the Seasons before were Awesome so no complaints
