The single biggest problem with social democracies, and all forms of governing where a central authority attempts to make all things equal, is it does not take into account human nature.

Sooner or later, those that are willing to produce will tire of those who are lazy and simply want to take.

Then the Government has to use it's authority to crack down on any insecretion, leading to dictatorship.

This dictatorship usually resorts to stripping away of the last remnants of personal freedom. And in the end, just putting people against wall.

By the way. I am all for these "socialist utopias", ............as long as I can be in charge.
