Red dot, Green dot..

Question, what do the red dot, green dots under our avatars and next to the rtm button mean? Green dot online, red dot offline?

I thought this thread was about the new scope I have on my assault rifle. It can select between a red dot or a green dot and three or four other reticules.
Personally it depends on the light conditions as to which dot I prefer.

What dot????
