The "Mastermind" of Paris attacks is dead

I have heard so much about the "mastermind" of the Paris attacks and how much planning had to go into this cowardly attack. CNN & Fox and it seems like every news outlet speaks of this scum bag like he was this brilliant military mind. IMO nothing could be further from the truth. It would not be difficult to kill innocent bystanders in mass when you have a handful of like minded people who want to die killing as many people as possible. I don't recall McVey being described as a mastermind having great military strategies rolling around in his fucked up head.

Can someone please explain to me what was so complicated about this attack? What took so much planning and genius to kill 129 people?

I think that certain words are overused and you could be onto another one. Often, I'll hear of an actor who does something relatively normal, or going through some trial, and he's "So brave. So courageous."

Nah. He's an actor with some press.

So being a "mastermind" doesn't have that much meaning to me when I'm reading a news article about someone like this person.

HOWEVER, it must take SOME cunning to convince people to kill themselves for a cause. Honestly, I've never really understood that and I've studied Catholic saints.

Guess that I have more of a survivor instinct. Or perhaps I'm morally bankrupt.

Anywho ... I don't see that person as a "mastermind" in the traditional sense of the word. Perhaps suggesting that he had leadership skills would be more accurate?

But it wouldn't sound as good, would it?

When someone is willing to die for what ever cause they believe in, it takes very little in the way of sophisticated equipment to cause mass destruction.

The Japanese Kamikazi Pilots of WW-2 were a very good example. By the simple act of not trying to come out alive, they were able to cause tremendous damage and loss of if in comparison to the effort put forth.

Remember. It only takes one to be sussessful in order to cause major mayhem.

There are estimated 1.5 Billion Muslims in the World. But, they say, only 5 % really believe in this international Jihad.

Do the math.
At least it didn't take the French months or years to kill him. He and his compatriots were probably getting a couple of govt checks from the French or Belgiums so he wasn't so hard to track down.

Why didn't you volunteer to solve the case, Budman? Seems like you've got all the answers and are quite the military strategist. With you at the helm, we'd wipe out everybody, right?

As for the way the MSM ...especially FOX, the most mainstream of them all ...characterizes ANY actor in a terror attack... I'm sure you can provide us the answer.

If it was that easy, why haven't you already done it? I'd like to know why Ted Cruz hasn't brought everybody to justice. Right, he's busy running his mouth.

I'm sure you could just take a page out of your hero McVeigh's book. Easy peezy!

The fuckers in there killed a dog.

This shit in Paris was just a bunch of fucking idiots (much like you) that can't think for themselves.

The term "Mastermind" doesn't necessarily mean brilliant but it seems like many so called experts want to talk about how much planning went into something like this. Maybe they are just trying to come across more important and smarter than they actually are.

Keep drinking the koolaid you fucking moron. To bad you didn't join your friend in Jonestown.

Class act for sure.

Please show where the "koolaid" was drunk. You're just raging on in your predictably incoherent, blathering way. Angry at the world. Ready to start a fight. Your post indicated that you know better than the French military and that it was easy to orchestrate the attack that left the world shaking (not you of course, Davy!) and 129 dead.

Yet I'm the one drinking the "koolaid?"

Nonsense. As always.

My guess is that you're another pudgy gelatinous mass of goo who only gets off the couch to grab himself another 40 of OE.

Talk is cheap. And so are you.
Someone who rents cars, and apartments in his own name isn't a mastermind, however he did plan it, smuggled guns, and explosives into the country. Found some dipshits who would shoot innocents, and blow themselves up, and carried out the operation.

the term mastermind just means the planner or instigator of something

it isn't meant to convey the idea of a superior intellect

its a term that, quite frequently, readily has its meaning nuanced with a certain level of evilness or nefariousness
